The Hamamatsu LIGHTNINGCURE 200 is a high power yet compact UV spot light source that uses a 200W Super-Quiet Mercury-Xenon lamp. A built-in condenser reflector collects intense UV light emitted from the Mercury-Xenon lamp into a quartz fiber (light guide) or large-area uniform beam optics, to irradiate the target object with extreme efficiency. When used in UV adhesive curing, the LIGHTNINGCURE 200 allows quick curing in as short a time as several seconds without causing thermal damage to the target object or peripheral parts. These features make the LIGHTNINGCURE 200 very useful in adhesion processes for electronic and optical components that are vulnerable to heat.
