12.5Gb/s, 1550nm Transmitter, Rackmount, SM output The Optilab LT-1550 series is a high performance electrical to optical converter designed for applications requiring wide-band digital modulation or high bit-rate data transmission. LT-1550 series transmitters utilize a narrow linewidth 1550nm wavelength DFB laser and a broadband optical modulator to provide pure and efficient modulation. These products are ideal for DWDM or TDM digital data transmission up to 12.5Gb/s. It can also be a excellent product for electro-optic component characterization, DWDM networks, TDM link, laboratory test and measurement. The transmission distance can be extended up to 500km with Dispersion Compensation and EDFA.
LT-1550 series can be ordered with two versions of modulation bandwidth: 5Gb/s and 12.5Gb/s. Its DFB laser operating wavelength can also be custom ordered with any ITU DWDM grid within C-Band, at 50/100GHz channel spacing. The housing choice include a 19” rack mount and bench top model. All LT-1550 series products come with a standard 3 year limited warranty.
