1533nm EAM-DFB, 12Gb/s, 17GHz Bandwidth, 2mW Output LIM10 is an Electro-Absorption Modulator (EAM) with integrated DFB laser for DWDM, SONET and RF over Fiber applications. It is can be modulated from up to 12.5Gb/s in digital operation. It can also be modulated by analog signals, up to 17GHz. The modulated optical output powers from –1dBm to +4dBm. With three different models of +800, +1600 or +1800 ps/nm dispersion tolerance. The Extinction Ration (ER) at 10Gb/s is higher than 10.0 dB. Power dissipation of is under 2W, allowing use in small form factor transponders. LIM10 is housed in a 7-pin EML-compatible package. The wavelengths available on 100GHz ITU grid and tunable to 2 channel. Full Telcordia GR-468-CORE. Features:
- 17GHz 3dB bandwidth
- Compact module w/ DFB + EAM
- Low drive voltage of 2.5 Volt
