The Polarization Maintaining (PM) Single Stage Isolator minimizes back-reflection and back-scattering in the reverse direction at the selected polarization state. The isoloator will only pass the slow axis signal and block the fast axis signal. The single stage design offer low loss of 1.5dB and maintains isolation value of 35dB. With a high polarization extinction ratio of 20dB, this device is suitable for applications in PM Er/Yb fiber lasers and amplifiers. This device will pass slow axis signals and block fast axis type.
