Swept Wavelength Laser 1525-1575nm, w/ Modulation Bandwidth of 3GHz he OptiLab RTL-1550-M is a swept Wavelength laser source that is capable of rapid wavelength tuning across 1525nm to 1575nm wavelength windows. When driven by an external voltage source, such as functional generator or D/A converter, it can produce dynamically scanning wavelength spectrum up to the rate of 5 kHz.
RTL-1550-M provides excellent Side Mode Suppression Ratio (SMSR) of 50dB and high output level of 10mW. The output of RTL-10-M can be modulated up to 3GHz, via an external modulator, up to 3GHz in bandwidth. These performance enables excellent signal-to-noise ratio in Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) sensor interrogation system, optical coherence system and optical frequency domain ranging.
